Pushing Forward: open skate, film premiere & panel discussion at The Berrics
On December 10th, get down to The Berrics for a night of skating, community and conversation surrounding Red Bull Skate’s, Pushing Forward.
Bring your board for the 6–8pm Girlz* Open Skate session and stay for the premiere and panel from 8pm. Episode 2 of Red Bull Skate’s Pushing Forward, Skateboard Like a Girl, will be on the big screen followed by a panel discussion with Vanessa Torres, Briana King, Kim Woozy, Ashley Masters, and Alexandra Pepin speaking on topics surrounding womxn’s skateboarding.
There will also be photography by Zorah Olivia, music by DJ Lady Sha, and food provided by Beyond Meat. Oh and don’t be late because there are welcome gifts for the first 100 skaters provided by SLMBR PARTY.
Note: the 6:00 – 8:00 pm Girlz* Open Skate includes anyone who identifies as non-cisgender male, including women, trans, non-binary, and/or gender nonconforming skaters. Friends, boyfriends, husbands, dads, etc. who identify as cisgender male are welcome and encouraged to attend and experience the film screening and panel at 8:00 pm.
