In the ultimate encapsulation of her creative talents, Alexis took on the the filming, editing, animation, and original score for her new video.
A year ago, Alexis Sablone worked with the Converse CONS design team to create a collection that paid tribute to Japanese design and the preparation she and other riders had taken on the road to Tokyo, where she hoped to be competing this summer.
Instead, like millions around the world, she has spent months in the confines of her home and neighborhood. In that time, she’s worked to further develop her creative production skills—concepting, self-shooting, self-editing, and mixing music—for the newest CONS collection aptly dubbed, Designed By Alexis.
The collection itself is an assortment of Alexis’ favorite Converse silhouettes: her AS One Star Pro, the Jack Purcell Pro, and the Louie Lopez Pro—a nod to her fellow CONS teammate.
Concepted and shot around Brooklyn, the video uses multi-angle shots to showcase Alexis’ versatility of this creative edge.
To release the Alexis Sablone One Star Pro, Alexis has directed a donation to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.
