As part of BOWLZILLA Gold Coast 2021 Yeah Girl is putting on a skate photography workshop for womxn, trans, non-binary, non-cis male’s aged 15+ who have a passion for skateboarding and want to learn how to capture it.
The workshop will be held on Thursday, March 11th 6–8pm at Level Up Studio + Gallery in Coolangatta on the Gold Coast. We’ll cover things like composition, how to capture the context of a trick, basic technical skills and settings, photographing a skate event, communicating with skateboarders you’re shooting, how to get your work published, and more!
Dinner is on the house thanks to Beach Burrito Co. and all participants will have the opportunity to reserve a media pass for the BOWLZILLA contest on Saturday March 13th, so they can put their new knowledge and skills to the test.
