Liz Brown is a New-York based storyteller and creator, specializing in photography and writing. Her longtime mantra is: people are important; therefore portraits are important and stories are important.
In 2010, she picked up her first camera, shot her first rock show. and has been enthralled and learning ever since. Working in the music industry taught her skills in observation and connection, of noticing emotion and finding light, that cross over into skateboarding. People are people and light is light: what’s important is that you’re paying attention.
Outside of photography and writing, Liz is constantly thrifting for the perfect pair of jeans and the coziest black tees. When she visits the suburbs she dances in parking lots, but in New York, she dances on rooftops. She drinks too much coffee, wishes she slept more, but will never turn down the chance to chase a sunrise or a sunset. She likes new friends, so always feel free to send her a DM on Instagram or an email via her site.
